Tips to Getting Targeted Traffic Marketing Your Web site, Part #1
I didn’t realize it had been such a long time since my last post until I checked the Calendar today.
While my absence has been quite productive for me (I’ve started another blog, Kittens ‘n Things,) with its accompanying estore, Itty Bitty Shoppe for Kitty) it has left me a bit more behind here and at one of my other blogs than I originally planned.
Having said that, I did find some tips to help you create a plan for your online business; with suggestions of ways you can get targeted business (i.e. traffic) to your Site
There are many things you can do to get visitors, and not one step is better than or worse than another.
So you’ll want to look at the various options available to you and develop the Web site marketing strategy that best fits you.
One of the things you can do to market your Web site and your business is to write articles and then submit them to article directories. The best thing about this approach is you can do this with absolutely no money to start with.
If you are not good at writing, article marketing can still be cheaper than other kinds of advertising.
Write 25 articles (or have them written for you).
Sign up for an account at EzineArticles.com and submit the 10 articles (you can only submit 10 when you have a basic account.
After those 10 are approved, you will be upgraded and can submit more). Then, go over to Squidoo.com and create a lens and put 5 of your articles on the lens.
Then go over to HubPages.com and create a Hub with 5 articles. The final 5 articles should be submitted to multiple directories.
One way to do this is through iSnare.com which, for $2 each, will submit your articles to hundreds of directories.
Because I have a few more tips to add to this post and because it’s become rather long now, I’m going to continue it tomorrow. So stop back here about mid-afternoon to get a few more tips.
