You’ve Got a Twitter Account…Now What?
You haven’t done this before. So what do you do?
If Twittering is new to you, you’ll want to learn a few basic ground rules. For instance, you can achieve a number of goals by being specific when you tweet about certain things.
Also, the way you tweet has a lot to do with promoting your business identity.
As a business owner promoting your products or services, your focus will be to stick with the worthiness of your business and its features, and refrain from trying to prove your business is superior to the business of that of your rivals. It might be considered bad form.
Another “rule of thumb” for Tweeting, is to not Tweet evil and offensive words. You may find times when you become frustrated and upset with something that’s been Tweeted and might want to Tweet in kind, but responding like that is not acceptable to express your disgust.
Especially, since many people will be seeing what you Tweet, and your Tweets will be in cyberspace for perpetuity.
Bad language and attitude will harm your personal rapport and may reduce your followers as well. So, before you really learn what to Tweet on Twitter, try to learn what not to Tweet!
Stop by here tomorrow about this time to read the rest of these tips.
